Interdisciplinary actress Peruvian and Polish. Muki Sabogal has performed and starred in six feature films and more than thirty short films and video clips. In "Videofilia" she was the lead role and line producer a long film that won the Tiger Awards at the Rotterdam Film Festival 2015 and was screened in more than forty countries, nominated and representing Peru for the Oscars 2017. She has performed in ten plays in theaters in Lima. She spent two and a half years with the Yuyachkani Theater Group learning and performing in their international laboratories from 2010 to 2012. She finished her acting career at the TUC PUCP and traveled with a scholarship given by the Acting Studio of the Berlinale Talents Campus, Berlin 2014 and BAFICI, Buenos Aires 2016. She has continued to hone her craft thru acting for film workshops, contemporary dance, folkloric and butoh, yoga and tai chi, circus and clown, music and singing, performance and costumes, and film editing and directing. She directed five experimental videos and art videos, and made multiple stage performances in public streets and art spaces.
