Lauren Alexandre-Lasseur, is a bilingual American who began her career in Los Angeles as an actress, then went on to direct and produce theatre. Relocating to Paris, France in 1994, Lauren worked on numerous franco-anglophone co-productions for television, produced in France, insuring the quality of the anglophone casting, supervising the ADR and sound post-production of each series, and directing the French and English versions of over 200 episodes of series television in post-synchronization and dubbing. Today, Lauren is an Artistic Director in both Paris and Los Angeles, responsible for the English versions of such French feature films as Amelie from Montmartre, The Brotherhood of the Wolf, and the French ambiance of films such as Mr. Bean's Holiday as well as both English & French versions of the new television series XIII. With a degree in law and linguistics from UCLA, Lauren also works as a bilingual theatre professor and an artistic & linguistic coach, specializing in acting technique and "voice and character creation" (live action and animation). Continuing her work in the theatre, Lauren is also a playwright, producer and director. In 2005, she wrote and directed "Weave", an original theatre piece, in London. She is also the owner and Artistic Director of "Lion's Share Theatre Company" through which she successfully directed and produced several plays, including Burlingue. She is currently writing and producing "Le Chef d'Oeuvre Etait Presque Parfait!", a new comedic thriller in which she will perform.

With a Bachelor's degree in Finance, training with the British American Drama Academy at Oxford, the Atlantic Theatre Company in New York, and over fifteen years of competitive sports, Lauren meets projects with a force of right and left brained adaptability, resilience, and excitement to continuously push and experiment beyond artistic boundaries. Based in Los Angeles, Lauren spends free time teaching spin classes in West Hollywood, volunteering for Meals on Wheels, or surfing at her favorite spot in San Onofre.
