Creating, performing, and inspiring are the driving forces of Lauren's career in entertainment. Lauren started dancing at the age of 2 and quickly fell in love with the art form. She continued to dance throughout her formative years and into her early adulthood, where she became a professional dancer. During Superbowl XLVIII, Lauren auditioned and was picked to be one of Beyonce's dancers in the halftime show, which was viewed by millions. She has danced in several music videos including Aloe Blacc featuring Rebirth Brass Band's "Can you do this", The Jonas Brothers' "Pom poms", and Clay Walker's "Jesse James". She was an NFL cheerleader for the New Orleans Saints for two straight seasons. She took great pride dancing in front of 80,000 screaming die-hard fans each Sunday in the New Orleans Superdome. After moving to Los Angeles at the age of 20, she discovered acting, which became a new and exciting passion of hers. Two years later, she moved to New Orleans, a hub of the booming film industry of the south, and began progressing in her acting career. After deciding not to return to the NFL Cheerleading team, she was able to focus all of her energy into acting. Most recently she guest starred on NCIS:New Orleans and on ABC Network's Astronaut Wives Club. She also stared in the feature films, "The Shelter", "Sulfur", "Sex, Love, and Texts", "Silk Skream", and Hallmark's "Rodeo and Juliet". She is enjoying this natural progression of movement from dancing into acting and enjoys any chance to express her creativity. Lauren was born in sunny Tampa, Florida. She is of Cuban (from her paternal grandmother) and Italian decent. Growing up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana as the oldest of two children in a small family, she spent most of her adolescent years in the dance studio perfecting her craft. She traveled to dance competitions all around the US, where she won awards and scholarships at many different conventions. When she was twelve years old, her parents got divorced. This caused her to focus more on her creative outlets and began further exploring her creativity and passion for all things expressive. Being able to travel the nation gave her a yearning to explore and experience different cultures other than the South. These experiences widened her general perspective and outlook on life. She is currently back in the South, living in New Orleans as an actress, model, and dancer. She works between New Orleans, Mississippi, Atlanta, Dallas, and hopes put Los Angeles back on that list again very soon!
