Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, LaNisa Renee Frederick honed her craft in Chicago, working and training as an improv and sketch artist at Second City Chicago; and performing at the Tony Award-winning Victory Gardens Theatre, Goodman Theatre, and Steppenwolf. She is the co-creator of Hashtag Booked whose viral sketches have received acclaim from outlets including Forbes, Playbill, and Essence Magazine. A prolific voiceover artist, LaNisa has voiced video games, including and most notably "Syd" the first black woman to be a major playable character in Call of Duty. She is a recurring VO artist with several animations on outlets such as Dreamworks and Nickelodeon. She is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago and the University of Essex (England). And has also studied with Amy Morton and K. Todd Freeman at The School of Steppenwolf co-created by Jeff Perry.

After 7 years of being a novelist, LaQuita pivoted into screenwriting. In 2021, she decided to take control of her destiny by enrolling into film & video production courses at the University of Memphis. She graduates with a Bachelors of Art in English and also a Bachelors of Arts in Film & Video Production. She also founded Midsouth Films a production studio that offers educational tools and services for emerging independent filmmakers. With more than 20 published novels, LaQuita hopes to inspire others to follow their dreams and encourage growth and diversity in the film industry. With plans to release her first independent feature film in 2022, she has tackled the producer, director, music supervising, and post production supervising roles. She's proof that with goals, anything can happen.

LaRaisha Dionne is a first year MFA acting candidate in the Theatre & Dance department at Wayne State. A professional actress, singer, writer, and arts administrator from Wilmington, North Carolina; she graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Musical Theater in 2008. She recently served as the Director of Operations of the Wilson Center for the Performing Arts at Cape Fear Community College and served as Secretary for the Commission on African American History for the City of Wilmington. She has performed in several professional theatrical performances, including a double-award winning turn as the Billie Holiday in Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill in Wilmington, NC. Past credits include Olivia in Twelfth Night (Wayne State), Herself in Unveiling the Mask (Wayne State), The Proprietor in Assassins, Whatsername in American Idiot, Cathy in The Last 5 Years, Fastrada in Pippin, and Pennywise in Urinetown. She believes in the power of connection through storytelling.
