Kyle Hendershot is an American actor born and raised in Lima, Ohio on March 13, 1992. Growing up he had aspirations of being a doctor but soon fell in love with acting after being dragged off of his first film set in order to take a college entrance exam. He never forgot the experience and after his junior year of college he decided that's what he wanted to do after being inspired by Allen Watt's "What do you want" speech. Kyle graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University but upon his graduation he moved to California to pursue a career as an actor, much to the disapproval of his parents.
Kyle is the son of a former Marine Corp drill instructor and an elementary school arts educator. He thought he was going to be an astronaut or a biologist and was admitted to Rice University as a biology major. Instead he graduated with a degree in history and art history and attended the University of Texas - Austin, where he received an MFA in film production in 1999. His feature narrative film debut ROOM premiered at both the 2005 Sundance and Directors' Fortnight film festivals. His follow-up film FOURPLAY is an anthology-of-shorts feature again executive produced by Michael Stipe and Jim McKay. He is a working film editor/educator/director hybrid and teaches film production at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.

Kyle Hester was born in New Orleans La. to a professional football player father (Ray Hester of the New Orleans Saints) and a cheerleader mother (Hollis Huntoon). His inspiration to act came early in life starting out in drama class in junior high school. Kyle then attended the High School for the Performing and Visual arts in Houston, TX. He double majored in theatre and dance in his senior year. You may have seen him as a dancer in Houston at The Tower Theatre. Kyle has had the honor of working with award winning directors John Frankenhiemer, Bruce Beresford and Mark Shelton to name a few. His film career has taken him to both sides of the camera including building the 1/3rd scale sets for "Team America" and being the art department lead man on the T.V. show "Wipe Out". Keep an eye out for his first producing venture "Burden of Freedom" where he will produce as well as play one of the lead characters.
