Cecilia Dewar
Born into a musical Caribbean family, 15-year-old CC migrated to Australia at the age of 6 and since then has performed widely as a contemporary vocalist, professional actor and model, and made her musical theatre debut as Rafiki in Lion King Jr in 2019 followed by 3 more lead roles to date. CC won a coveted place at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School to enter the Improvising Vocals program in 2022. She has a particular love of Jazz and has been fortunate to perform at iconic venues around Melbourne with legends such as the Daryl Mackenzie Jazz Orchestra, Fem Belling and the Joe Ruberto Trio and Soul Chic. She is about to launch her own 'powerhouse vocals' show with Elissa Rodger, with dates already booked at venues around Melbourne! In 2021 she was cast in a lead role in 'Woody Woodpecker 2' (NBC/Universal for Netflix) filming in Victoria. February 2022 saw the continuation of her modeling career when she was signed by Chadwick Models.
