Carolyn Grundman

Carolyn grew up in Austin, Texas participating in musicals at her local acting studio from an early age. These productions made her realize the importance of good storytelling, and she has wanted to tell stories ever since. At age 13 when her family moved to Edmond, Oklahoma, she began taking professional acting classes. There, at Spotlight Acting Studio, her teacher urged her to consider acting as a viable career path. So Carolyn auditioned for and was one of twelve women accepted to, the University of Oklahoma Peggy Dow Helmerich School of Drama, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Art in Acting. During this period, Carolyn signed with her first agent in Oklahoma and dove into the film community, auditioning for film and television, working for Oklahoma's only C.S.A. casting director, and for three years being the paid recruiter for the School of Drama as she continued towards her degree. Upon graduating with Honors, Carolyn moved to Los Angeles and immediately began booking roles her first week in town. Continuing to train and develop her skills, Carolyn has found homes at Matthew Barry Teaches, The BGB Studio, UCB, and Tess Kirsch Acting Studio. When she is not acting, Carolyn enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exercising, reading, and traveling.
