Born in England, Carol moved to the United States as a youngster after her mother remarried a man in the U.S. Air Force. She attended grammar school in San Antonio, Texas, then John Marshall Junior High and Pasadena High School both in Pasadena, California. She returned to London in 1960 and soon began her film career.

While acting is her passion and primary livelihood today, in between shooting motion pictures and appearing on stage, she some how find the time to sell real estate but most of the time referring clients to top brokers in New York. Specializing in residential Manhattan properties running the gamut from white-glove, high-rise luxury buildings to lofts and town houses and commercial real estate, leasing store-fronts and office spaces. Carol Commissiong continues to work in the industry. In her free time, she savors the many delights of New York City, from its unique shops and trendy restaurants to its lively dance clubs and theaters. At times, she get away form the hustle and bustle by taking romantic getaways and holidays with friends and family.

Carol Connors was a staple of the porn business in the 1970s, making a name for herself in such productions as Deep Throat (1972) and Erotic Adventures of Candy (1978). In the 1970s, she turned to adult entertainment ushering a career as a hardcore porn actress with the new decade. Connors famously played the nurse to Harry Reems' philandering physician in the "Gone With the Wind" of porn, Deep Throat (1972), but she didn't come into her own as an attraction until she starred in Gail Palmer's "Candy" series. Connors appeared in four hardcore sex films with her husband, Jack Birch, reaching the apogee of her adult entertainment career in the years 1978-79 with Palmer's Erotic Adventures of Candy (1978) and Candy Goes to Hollywood (1979) and in the X-rated Sweet Savage (1979), also helmed by a female director (Birch co-starred with her in all three films).
