John Day, a bank manager, and his wife, Maria, lose their daughter in an accidental forest fire, causing Maria to rarely open up to people. One day, a courier boy enters the house and kidnaps her.

Vikram, an Indian intelligence agent, is sent to Kashmir to investigate the people responsible for a host of extremist attacks. In his mission, he receives help from a young woman named Aziza.
